Noob Podcast question, sorry for that..?
I am green, I mean green and new as money in the area of podcasts. I am 30 and am just curious how this works. I see them on iTunes and various websites, but when you want to record your own what can you refer to? I have video and audio editing equipment and royalty free music, a good mic, etc. I guess that’s all I have so far. Does anyone know any “How-to” articles on this? Maybe on Youtube? I tried and they all claim you have to give something to get something which to me = scam.
Also, in these times, a lot of us are w/o a job. I am trying just to get some extra cash online but have struck out in so may different ways it’s not even funny. Also, can people make money off of a podcast? I will still do it even if I can’t, just for a hobby. Sounds fun. How should I go about this? Thanks.

I am a podcast fan without currently desiring to do a podcast
if I owned a mac I would likely start with Typical Mac User. I like Victor.
You can make money podcasting but it is very unlikely.
I think Leo LaPorte makes most of his money from the radio show.
A very few authors like Scott Sigler are able to use Podcasting to sell more books and most podiobooks.com authors do not become NYT bestseller like Scott.
