I want to make a photo slideshow using copyrighted music…?
I know I’ve seen plenty of different companies online that make photo slideshows for paying customers and use copyrighted music on them. I really don’t want to use royalty-free music because it’s so generic. How do I go about using popular songs that are copyrighted in my slideshows without breaking any laws?
Edit: This would be for a business. I know a professional photographer who wants me to start making slideshows for his customers using the photos he takes of them. I would be getting paid for the slideshows.
You need the “express written permission” of the copyright holder.
