How to find Indie music that is royalty free?
I want to embed Indie music in a computer program I am making. I plan on using it solely for background music. Where do I find music that isn’t signed by a label that I could use royalty free? Is there a list of band somewhere?
Wow, settle down. I didn’t say I wasn’t going to pay for it I just want to know a place to get them from. I respect others work and believe they deserve payment for it.
That would be a slap in the face of all artists, buddy. If you want music for free then write it yourself. It doesn’t matter if a band is signed or not, they still hold the rights to their music and thus there will be licensing fees and royalties.
You will not find others willing to hand over their music for free to something like a computer program.
Seriously, have some respect for musicians and artists.
