my server blocked limewire, how can i download anything from the net now??! helpp!!!?
im in a university dormitory and the server blocks downloading anything from the net…even playing multiplayer internet games.
i dont care so much bout the online games… i just want to ask how i can download free music without the limewire… it’s blocked too. 
It could just be a matter of running a proxy or changing the port settings on limewire until you find one that is not blocked. Most of that should be able to get configured from the settings/options. As the first person put…they are blocking it for a reason and do not want anyone using those programs as the university can be held liable as well.
