I’m just going to assume you’re referring to the Shuttle because the Slash is not the newest Virgin Mobile phone and the Slash doesn’t have a music player. With that being said here’s what you need to do to add music because right now there is no data/USB cable for the Shuttle unless you can buy one off eBay.
I have a Shuttle and if you don’t have a data cable (which prob won’t work anyway), you need to buy a microsd memory card. It holds 4GB max and thats about 380 songs. As soon as you buy the microsd card, put it in your phone first and it should auto format. Take it out the phone and put it in the computer and you should see 3 folders, my_pix, my_flix, and my_music. Open the my_music folder and put all your songs in this folder then put the microsd card back in the phone. Now once you go to your music player you should see all your songs. Just a little advice, you should make a copy of anything that you put on your SD card just in case you ever lose your phone or your memory card gets damaged.
