Which version of imovie is the best?
I have the newest version of imovie, and I think that the effects are great – the moving map and all that fancy stuff. I don’t know if it’s because I don’t know how to use it or is imovie getting worse, but I can’t edit film with the frames, native sound, background music / sound track as rows TOGETHER on the SAME screen.
Which version is the best? If not this one, how do I get an older version free? And if I want the newer one back, will I have to pay? Do the files I uploaded on imovie automatically stay even if I change the version of the imovie?

Errrr… What I meant by together is like … rows. Rows that you can stretch – hard to explain. Like the older version that I once used in school. I don’t like how it’s just beneath – I can’t edit it… by looking at how long the video is, and stretching and shrinking the audio and moving stuff…

But you can edit film and music together…. The sound is right there, beneath the frames….
