Free Royalty Free Stock Music

Do you have to credit it?

I am going to make a film that will be shown in a film festival and I am going to use some stock (or royalty free) footage/sounds/music. I was wondering if I had to credit the source in the credits since it is royalty free. Most of these items I obtained from Video Copilot.

When you purchase or obtain royalty free music you agree to a License Agreement. The license agreement for each company is different. I do not see anything in the Video Copilot License Agreement that requires you to give credit. Our license agreement at www.SmartSound.com also doesn’t require credit. If you are interested in trying our patented scoring software you can get 10 royalty free music tracks just for trying it. Just copy and paste this address into your browser.
