Very useful links. Here’s one that could also come in handy if you need some stock footage archive.org Most of the video footage you find here is in the public domain. Some really good footage from the 1940′s and 50′s if you need stuff pertaining to the nuclear bomb. Don’t forget to check out Magic-Time Films on Facebook also.

True men write their own music
@Evilhamster95 We’re not all skilled in the music like you Eric. Why don’t you create some stuff for us!!
thanks for this, the freeplaymusic site has some really high quality sounding production music
freeplaymusic is free for personal, non-commercial use. Anything beyond that requires a paid license. Uploading their content with a youtube video for example is not strictly personal, non-commercial. It’s considered broadcast so in theory they could send lawyers after you. Read their Terms of Use carefully if you’re thinking about using their material in your next project.
@CraneeProductions Thanks! I didn’t realize that, I’ll annotate that info!
great video, a must see for any new filmmaker.
The best site for royalty free music is incompetech (dot) com
FirstCom?
i get most of my stuff from soundcloud. they have alot of stuff thats free to use commercially under creative commons and I like soundcloud because most everyone on there is making music as a hobby or a job, so it sounds much more professional and less “stocky” or “garage band loop” if you know what I mean
@MasterCharlz Cool resource! Thanks for sharing!
Findsounds (dot) Com is a great site for finding sound effects!
I was surprised when they had orgasm sound effects…odd
