How do i edit videos?
I need a free programme thats easy to use as im thick and spent. 
I want it to cut a certain part of a video out, so it suddenly jumps to another section of the video
&&
how do i put many different videos together?
i have an idea of an end of school video, with some of the funny times we’v had at school
i would want to put in background music, fade in and outs to enter a different video
help me?

By far your best and easiest option is Windows Movie Maker. It comes free with most Windows packages automatically – should be under Start > All Programs
It’s great for simple cutting and pasting as well as adding credits or backing music and doing fades/effects. You can also add as many parts from as many vids as you like.
