Copyright free music?
Ok, I have a YouTube channel up at the moment and I am going to start making some video game montages. I have looked through “royalty free music”, but none of the songs I found are actually good. Therefore, my question is, if there is a song on YouTube with a “free download link” and there are other videos with the same song that are not copyright infringed, is it ok to use that particular song. If you are going to answer this, please do not suggest royalty free music, trust me, I’ve tried it. But yeah, if there is a “free download link” or if it is a remix of a song and not on iTunes or anything, is it ok to use that song? Thank you in advance.
I am not certain if it is the cost you are concern about as you do not want royalty free music but want free download link. I can assure you that you are more likely to find something that fits if you pay then if it is free as there aren’t that many free music as compared to paid music which I guess it is logically. Copyright infringement can be a problem. as per the other answer, you can try to use and remix a song but it is illegal even if you credit the person. You can try and if it slips (which happens but for how long is another thing), you are lucky else it may get taken off and you are off to square one finding legal music. you can't…..all music that is not public domain requires royalty fess to be paid to that artist. Any site that provides a link may not be breaking the law, however you downloading from that site is illegal…Public domain songs, just so you know are about 60 yeas old….
