What music can I use in my youtube videos?
Is there a list of what songs can be used without all that copyright trouble?
Or a site with music that’s free to use.
The videos that I have in mind are just for fun, non-profit.
Best idea for you to do is to upload the video with no audio, then use the AudioSwap feature in youtube to change it. Obviously, this will give your video adverts on it.
If you need some audio for commentary for example, I suggest doing a search for “royalty free music” and finding tracks people have made and are keen for you to distribute. I sometimes use this site and have had no copyright troubles. http://www.music4yourvids.co.uk/pages/mymusicpag.html just download what you want to use and also make sure you read his terms of service. Generally, if its for non commercial purposes (i.e. You’re not a YouTube Partner), then it’ll probably be fine.
